Polka Dot CAS Card

Hi everyone! I hope your new year is going well thus far. For today’s project, we will be working on a polka dot CAS card. For starters, let’s define what a CAS card is… CAS stands for “Clean And Simple”. Basically, these types of cards don’t have a lot of embellishments or layers; they are very quick and easy cards to create. This is especially helpful if you are pinched for time or if you are mass producing a similar card.

Here in the U.S., the Fall season is upon us. The leaves are beautiful, the farmer’s harvest is in, and the pumpkins are plentiful! To celebrate Fall and the approaching Thanksgiving holiday, I thought it would be fun to create a pumpkin-shaped card! I had lots of fun making this card and I hope you will too!!

I’m a Fan of… Amy R.!!

Nowadays, there are many craft bloggers and YouTubers – but one that stands out in my mind is Amy Rysavy with Prairie Paper and Ink. She has well over 40,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, and for good reason! Her paper crafting videos are so inspiring and fun to watch. She presents each video with professionalism, yet, a down-to-earth style.

I would like to congratulate Amy R. and present her with this virtual Multiplicity Crafts Fan Award below!!

amyr

amyr-welcome-image-2I first learned of Amy through YouTube and have been subscribed to her channel for a while now. She has been on YouTube for over 8 years now! She does paper craft tutorial videos as well craft hauls, unboxing videos, and reviews. My personal favorite is when she watercolors on her cards – I could watch her paint for hours!! On her blog, she describes herself as a “Stamper, Blogger, YouTuber (40,000+ subscribers!), complete novice cake decorator (need tons of practice!), habitual coffee drinker…”  She is also a work-at-home single Mom with 3 girls and 1 boy. She has been on some very prestigious design teams and does such excellent work.

As those of you who read my blog well know – I will only promote products, bloggers, and companies that I truly enjoy. I hope you will check out Amy’s YouTube channel and blog to see what amazing creations she has made! I will post an example of a card she’s made below to whet your appetite!! 🙂

Digital Image “Owl Family” Card

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a happy May thus far. I was honored to be a Guest Designer at Through The Craft Room Door blog this month! I used a digital image from LC Designs for my card. I just recently began trying digital images and enjoyed this new venture. So… I thought I would post the card I made to inspire you to try something new, also!

What are digital images? Basically, they are like clip art (drawn by an artist) and either sold or given away as freebies on crafting blogs and websites. You can print them on your printer and color them in. They can be used for your cards, scrapbooks, art journals, or just about anything crafty!

Below, I have listed the supplies I used to make this owl card. Again, I would like to thank LC Designs for the digital image and Through The Craft Room Door for having me as a Guest Designer!
