Best Overall Ink Pad: Lawn Fawn Premium Ink Pad

lfLawn Fawn Premium Ink Pad is a versatile dye ink. I like this ink because it’s safe for watercoloring AND alcohol markers; it takes the guesswork out of it. It’s also fast-drying, stamps nicely, and is made in the USA!

Best Cardstock: Doodlebug Design “Sugarplums” Collection

dbd

Cardstock is my favorite craft supply to purchase! I dream of, someday, owning my own cardstock company… one can dream, right?? 😉 I have to discipline myself not to buy ALL the cardstock! There are many beautiful designs out there, but I am going to pick Doodlebug Design as my favorite cardstock of 2018. Why? I used their Sugarplums Collection for my Christmas cards and was so very pleased with the quality and coordinating designs. But, it’s not just Christmas paper that they have – be sure to check out all the wonderful collections by Doodlebug Design! P.S. Their owner has a heart of gold, too!

Best Coloring Product: PrismaColor Premier Colored Pencils

pc

Look familiar? Probably because this product is a winner for the 2nd year in a row! Whenever I want to achieve high quality results with smooth blending, I always reach for my PrismaColor colored pencils. I did add more colors to my stash this past year, as well, and have really continued to enjoy this product!

Best Stamp Set: Maymay Made It “Big Time Sayings” Stamp Setmmibts

I was honored to be a part of Maymay Helm’s Instagram design team this past year. During my time there, I discovered the amazing quality of all her stamps. However, the one I reached for the most was “Big Time Sayings”. This stamp set is versatile, stamps nicely, and took my cardmaking to another level with the nice mix of large and small fonts/sentiments! Oh, and now she offers dies for this stamp set, as well. Highly recommended!

Best Adhesive: Scor-Tape Double-Sided Adhesive

st

This amazing adhesive is a 3rd year winner, and for a good reason! It’s the most reliable adhesive I own (other than hot glue)! If I need to make sure something adheres strongly, I always reach for my Scor-Tape. I also love that it comes in a variety of widths, and a roll will last for a very long time.

Most Innovative Product/Tool: Craft Medly Precision Reverse Tweezers

rt

I never knew what I was missing out on until I purchased this handy tool! These tweezers are “reversed” (resting position is closed instead of open). They come in very handy when I need to hold something together to allow glue to dry or when tying bows. The fine/angled point also works for a variety of uses.

Most Useful Product/Tool: Fiskars Paper Trimmer

f

Hardly a project goes by that I haven’t reached for my Fiskars Paper Trimmer! Lightweight, compact, and gets the job done. Cuts nicely with replaceable blades. This product also comes in various sizes and various blade types. Love it!!

Fan Award – Favorite Craft YouTuber: Koren Wiskman

KorenW

Recently, I conducted a poll asking other crafters to vote for their favorite craft YouTuber. The results are in, and the winner is… Koren Wiskman!! I am also a subscriber to Koren’s channel and enjoy her high quality videos, amazing workmanship, and fun personality! She has been cardmaking for well over a decade and brings lots of experience and ideas to her crafts. If you want to be inspired, go check out her YouTube channel HERE!
