Bright & Happy Thank You Card

I love to get inspiration for cards from color palettes – so I had a blast making this card featuring lime green, teal, and white! The Color Throwdown blog posted this color palette for their current card challenge. If you’ve never entered a challenge, it can be lots of fun. There are so many other gorgeous entries to browse through, as well. To see the challenge(s) posted at the Color Throwdown, please click HERE. Also, I have a few other challenges featured under my Giveaways & More tab HERE.

The card I decided to make was a simple, yet colorful, Thank You card. I got the hot air balloon stamp used on this card at Michael’s a few years ago. I stamped the image off with my Momento ink (which I adore) on white, teal, and lime green cardstock. Then, I cut out parts of each and paper pieced onto the white, stamped paper to add some color. I used my white gel pen to add dashes (faux stitching) around the balloons. To finish it off, I added a simple banner/band across the front. It was fun to make and so easy! Check out my finished card on my Instagram or scroll down to view it below. ↓ ↓ ↓
